Introduction
Welcome to Color Rush ("the App"), a reflex-based color-matching game developed for Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this policy carefully. By downloading or using Color Rush, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
Data We Do Not Collect
Color Rush is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, transmit, or share any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email address, phone number, date of birth)
- Account credentials or login data
- Location data (GPS, IP-based, or otherwise)
- Device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, advertising ID)
- Photos, contacts, files, or any device content
- Usage analytics or behavioural tracking data
- Financial or payment information
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Color Rush stores a small amount of game data
exclusively on your device using Android's
SharedPreferences API. This data never leaves your device
and is never accessible to us or any third party.
Local data includes: your high score, total score, games played, best combo streak, coin count, and your sound and haptic preferences. This data is automatically deleted if you uninstall the App.
Game scores, settings, preferences — saved on-device only.
No data is sent to any server, cloud, or third party.
App Permissions
Color Rush requests only one Android permission:
- VIBRATE — used solely to provide haptic feedback (short vibrations) when you tap correctly or incorrectly during gameplay. This permission does not allow access to any personal data.
The App does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, or any other sensitive device capability.
Third-Party Services & SDKs
Color Rush does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or crash-reporting tools. Specifically, we do not use:
- Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any analytics service
- AdMob, Meta Audience Network, or any advertising SDK
- Facebook SDK, Twitter SDK, or any social platform SDK
- Crashlytics, Sentry, or any crash-reporting service
- Any payment processor or in-app purchase library
The only external library used is AndroidX AppCompat (a standard Google Android compatibility library), which does not collect or transmit any user data.
Children's Privacy
Color Rush is suitable for all ages and is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy.
Because we do not collect any personal information from any users, the App poses no privacy risk to children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children, and in fact collect no data from anyone.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately. We will promptly investigate and address any concerns.
Data Security
Since Color Rush does not collect or transmit any personal data, there is no data in transit to secure and no remote database that could be compromised.
Local game data stored on your device is protected by Android's standard application sandboxing. Other apps cannot access Color Rush's local data, and the data is encrypted at rest on devices that support Android's full-disk or file-based encryption.
Your Rights & Data Control
You have full control over any data the App stores locally:
- View your data — all stored data is visible within the App's Statistics screen.
- Delete your data — use the "Reset Statistics" option in Settings to wipe all locally stored game data instantly.
- Full deletion — uninstalling the App from your device permanently deletes all associated local data.
As we hold no data on our servers, there is nothing further we can provide, rectify, restrict, or port on your behalf. If you reside in the EU/EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, this architecture means those rights are inherently satisfied.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we will also update the App's Play Store listing.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
